This beautiful garden/produce basket has been intricately designed to endure rugged outdoor use. Made from dense and durable sapele hardwood and thick, 18-gauge 1/2-inch hardware cloth. It can easily support 30 lbs, yet only weighs about 3 lbs. Finished with food safe Rubio Monocoat, which is highly water-resistant and adds UV protection. With minimal care and maintenance, this can easily be something you pass down to your children.
The size of the basket is: 10” wide by 8” tall on the sides and 18” long. The height from the bottom to top of the handle is 13”. It will hold quite a bit come harvest time!

DISCLAIMER: There is mixed data on exactly how food safe PVC is, so if you choose the “Black PVC Coated” option for hardware cloth, please be willing to accept whatever risks may or may not be involved. (I am very health-conscious and use this option almost daily, I personally believe any risks are non-existent since what’s harvested only stays in the basket for a very short amount of time.)
