Next, it's sanded to perfection and a metallic black epoxy resin is poured. Finally, it's coated with a highly water-resistant and durable hard wax finish, so it will maintain it's beauty on your wall for generations.
 
A keyhole slot is routed into the back to make hanging it flush on your wall simple with the provided screw and drywall anchor (if needed). How you attach the skull cap is up to you. If you choose to drill through the plaque and secure it with screws, I recommend temporarily attaching it with hot glue or thick double-sided at first in order to make sure the placement is perfect.
 
The dimensions are as follows: 14.5" long, 7.5" wide, and .75" thick. The available space on the forehead area of the plaque for mounting is roughly 6.5" wide by 5" tall, depending on the shape of your antler mount.
